Girl Scout Father Daughter Dance.   We let the pumpkins outside. No bears, only porcupines snacked on them.   Discovery Southeast led field trip along the Mendenhall River. The kids are making living tableaus of erosion.   After being invited to the high school commons for lunch, the field trip continued at the public library.   Alex receiving his 1st quarter Honor Roll certificate.   Zachary receiving his 1st quarter Honor Roll certificate.   Full moon peeking over the mountain.   Mossy trees.   First snowfall.   And the first snowman.   We tried to hike the Flume Trail. It starts just up the hill in our neighborhood.   But, the trail was washed out.   Another 2nd grade field trip. This time to the Alaska State Museum.   I met Zachary's class at the glacier for their field trip. While I was waiting I saw this iceberg in the lake.   Ice crystals on the railings.   End of the road. This time on North Douglas.   Santa S
